How it works
Hero OS,layer by layer.
Hero.AI builds operating systems for trades contractors in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing. Hero OS is a 60-day install that gives your shop an AI front desk, an AI back office and one clean record of every job, without replacing the software you already run.
Days 1–10:we learn your shop.
- Connect. One click each for Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuickBooks, Google or Microsoft 365, your ad accounts and your phone. No software? A shared folder and a 20-minute voice intake.
- Interview.A recorded 45-minute talk with the owner: how a call becomes a job, how quotes and invoices go out, and what gets dropped.
- Price book.Every service you sell is coded to a standard Hero item. Lines your tools never coded go to a short review queue your office confirms.
- Context.Service area, brands, warranty and callback policy, tone, what you won’t do, and your top customer questions.
On day 10 you see where your week loses hours, a coded price book, and every customer and job you’ve ever done in one view. Nothing is moved or deleted, and your tools stay live.
No morecontact forms.
Keep your site and add one line of code, or let Hero build one from your price book: services with price bands, service area, licensing and insurance, reviews, hours and emergency policy.
Every way in is a live agent: the widget, your number, your text line and a book-now link. Google, Apple Maps and your site all point to the same place.
The front desk,screen by screen.
On your website, on a customer’s phone:
- 01Consent.Camera and mic, what’s recorded, and 90-day retention. Or carry on by voice only.
- 02What’s going on?The customer explains in their own words. Nova doesn’t comment on anything until she knows the problem.
- 03The scan. She directs the camera: the thermostat, the panel light, the label on the outdoor unit. Emergencies are caught here and routed to a fixed safety script.
- 04First report. What she saw, the equipment, the likely issue in plain English, and a scope band.
- 05Details.Name, phone, address and a time, typed or said. Questions about hours, insurance or warranty are answered on the way.
- 06Booked.A real slot from your calendar, a text confirmation, a plain summary and a reschedule link.
On the phone, the same agent asks five questions at most, then books, and can text a link for photos.
By text, customers send photos or video, and she triages and books in the thread.
What your techwalks in with.
- Causes.Probable causes, ranked, each with a confidence band.
- Path.A critical path: check this first. If true, do this. If not, do that.
- Equipment.Make, model and details read from the plate, with the key frames.
- Parts. The recommended items from your price book, so the truck carries the right parts.
Repeat customers are recognised by their second sentence: past jobs, open quotes and the address history are already on the record.
The back office,by text.
One number your owner, office and techs already text.
- Schedule.“What’s on tomorrow?” “Move the 2 p.m. to Thursday.” Written to your calendar and field app.
- Notes.“Replaced capacitor, wants a quote on a new unit” plus photos becomes a structured job record.
- Quotes.Three days after a quote she follows up, answers questions on the line items, and tells you who said yes.
- Office.Review requests, overdue invoices, parts reorders, and answers to “how many jobs are waiting on an invoice?”
Your second agent comes from a fixed menu, chosen by where your week leaks most.
One view.Every job.
Calls handled, bookings, revenue booked, and jobs waiting on a quote or an invoice. Revenue, average ticket and callback rate by service.
From day 31 she writes back into your tools: creates jobs, books appointments, drafts replies, sends QuickBooks invoices, and pauses an ad set when lead quality drops.
Every action is logged and reversible. Your office gets 30 minutes of training, and your techs a 15-minute video.
What you’retrusting.
- Safety.Emergency detection and the words she says in one are fixed text you’ve reviewed. Never generated.
- Vision. She follows a per-trade inspection script and only records what she was asked to look at, seen in more than one frame.
- Sources.Every number in a report traces back to the frame, note or document it came from.
- Your data.Hosted in Canada, owned by you, exportable any time. De-identified, coded job records improve accuracy across Hero.
- Backups. If a service goes down, your site and phone keep working. The worst case is a voicemail with a callback promise, which is where you started.
What it costs,what you commit.
- Install.A one-time fee for the 60-day onboarding.
- Monthly.A fee per agent after that. Most shops start with the front desk plus one back-office agent.
- Your tools. You keep, and keep paying for, the software you already use. Homeowners never pay Hero.
- Your time.A 45-minute interview, about two hours of price-book review in month one, and a 15-minute weekly check-in for 60 days.
One numberfor homeowners.
Once 30 shops are live, a homeowner anywhere in the GTA will text one Hero number with a photo and a sentence. Nova triages it and books it with a Hero contractor by trade, area, availability and track record.
One job, one contractor, already booked. Never the same lead sold to five shops.
Questions? Ask her.
Nova knows all of this. The founders know the rest.
