No trackers. That's it.

• hero.booted.v1 (local storage) — remembers that you've already seen the opening animation, so it doesn't replay every visit. It holds only a timestamp. Clearing your browser's site data resets it.
• Microphone permission — if you let Nova hear you, your browser remembers that choice for this site. You can change it in your browser's settings at any time.

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store anything in your browser, and doesn't follow you to other sites. It tells us which pages are visited, not who visited them.

When you start a conversation, your browser opens a live connection to ElevenLabs, which runs Nova's voice. That connection sets no cookies on this site. What happens to your voice and the transcript is in the Voice & Recording notice.

If we ever add a cookie that isn't strictly needed for the site to work, we'll ask you first, and this page will list it. Questions: privacy@usehero.ca. Last updated September 21, 2026.
